My path to becoming a writer 1-October

4:11pm Monday, Oct 1, 2007 Edit Note Delete
I just recieved my first quote from an editor to fix up my story. He has some really great things to say about it! I've had a few compliments from the couple of people that read it before, but never a professional! I'm waiting to hear from the other editor then I will choose one. One more step!Last night I started re-writing one of my novels. I lost my USB stick a while ago and didn't have a back-up of it (dumb me!). Luckily I had printed it out to edit while I was in Greece so I have a hard copy. This novel is about a small town band that makes the big time 15 years after they split up. I had it about 3/4 finished before I lost interest, but the lady that got me started in self publishing is really excited about it so I think it will be my first attempt at a full length novel. I have another one completed in the rough draft, (partially typed mostly hand written in small notebooks on the bus) but I think I will let that one sit for a bit. We'll see.Well that's all for today.

Cheers,

D
