My path to becoming a writer 2-October

6:18pm Tuesday, Oct 2, 2007 Edit Note Delete
Haven't heard back from the other editor yet. I'm giving him until tomorrow morning then going to go with the first guy. I really am a writing fool, I caught the bug. As I now have nothing to write on my bus rides I'm revisiting a story I started a while back that I never really liked where it was going, just the beginning of it. My main character started out strong and had lots of personality, but I kept loosing it along the way. I'm now attempting to re-write it to improve on that. I don't know how I'm going to keep it all straight! I'm baffled over people who read more than one book at a time, and here I am writing three! If only I could spend more time at my computer I wouldn't have this problem. Oh to be a full time writer. Maybe I should be doing that instead of this, or working on the basement, or walking the dogs or working or, or, or....

Someday this will be my day job. My goal... 3 books, $50,000 made from each then in my mind I am a professional writer and I need to do nothing else. Wish me luck!

til tomorrow,

D
